Clipper Care

Poor maintenance of barbering clippers is unsanitary and can prove detrimental to the machine's lifespan. This product which I have created, simplifies and automates the entire maintenance process in three simple steps. To see if this process would work, the necessary electronics had to be put together and tested. Although this project was very challenging, it has helped me to grasp a better understanding of electronics and coding. This project also provided the opportunity to improve my model making skills, using both aluminium and perspex. The overall outcome is something I am very proud of, and because of the quality of the final model I was handpicked to attend New Designers, where I exhibited my work, alongside many other of the best young designers in the UK.
